About

Skye Tholstrup (b. 2001, UK) is a multidisciplinary artist and designer working across collage, crochet, and latex. A graduate of Chelsea College of Arts (BA Textile Design, First Class Honours), she recently received the Emerging Artist award at the Dorset Open 2025.

Her practice is guided by myth and art history, she builds tactile worlds that exist between the sacred and the surreal, places where softness and sharpness coexist, and where desire begins to blur into unease.

She has trained under Joana Vasconcelos, contributing to large-scale projects including Valkyrie Miss Dior for Dior’s Paris Fashion Week, and continues to move fluidly between the worlds of art, fashion, and storytelling. Beyond the studio, her practice extends into creative direction and styling, exploring how material, image, and narrative intertwine.

Transformation lies at the core of Skye’s practice; she continually seeks out spaces where desire and discomfort meet, allowing beauty to teeter on the edge of distortion. This ongoing search for tension between the seen and the felt, the beautiful and the strange, defines her work.
